WHO WE ARE

Since 2016, we are a small, indie Android™-only game developer that specializes in trying to come up with games that we believe no one has ever made before - and we specialize in games that just about anyone in the family can pick up and play - and would be worthy of being Designed For Families on the Google Play Store. While we have yet to make a high-production "game" that, say, involves lots of things that move, you can perhaps appreciate the titles we've developed thus far.

OUR HISTORY

Our journey into Android™ development began when we were granted an Android™ developer license in the summer of 2014. Before we ever thought of making Android™ games, we first made a simple calculator app that was used by a particular community college to determine a student’s success and retention rate, based on certain factors. This was not a widely used application, and almost immediately fell into disuse.

Realizing that the lifetime fee of $25 for a Google Play developer license should not go to waste, we eventually sought to make good use of the license by trying to develop a real application independently. Armed with basic Android™ programming skills from a college course, we eventually came up with the idea of making genuine guide apps for some popular mobile games like Rail Rush, and decided to make them stand out amidst whatever crummy, counterfeit ones that existed in Google Play, and released the first of such app in 2015. We've made three of them so far, based on Miniclip's Rail Rush, Full Fat's Agent Dash and Kiloo's Stormblades. In 2020, to distinguish our game apps from these game guide apps, we have placed these guide apps under the management of a new subdivision called Little Phoenix Studios.

A year later, we discovered an opportunity to design a very simple game, for the first time. That game was Road Sign Bingo USA, and was released on June 1st, 2016. This game has received a steady trickle of downloads and is being presented as a family-friendly game under Google Play’s new “Designed for Families” program. The developer hopes that this game sees more success in the near future. But we didn't stop there. We somehow had ideas for a few more Android™ games, including what may be the first ever Android™ game on the Google Play Store to be all about the children's activity "Simon Says" - SIMON SAYS MOBILE and wasted little time getting them published in the coming weeks and months.

Then in 2017, after being inspired by toy puzzle games, we cranked out another simple, fun 40-level 2-D puzzle game of our own called LaunchPads: A Puzzle Game. We started out by releasing a largely unfinished version with just the easiest, first 10 levels playable to Google Play Store's Early Access, then added on the other thirty levels through three updates that each added in 10 levels, before finally bringing the game to gold status in the fall of 2017. We also added in bonus levels as in-app purchases in 2019, then a free level editor in 2020, available to all players who completed the main campaign's 40 levels.

With 2021 coming around the corner as the fifth anniversary of our revolutionary Simon Says Mobile, we decided to commemorate this golden moment by piecing together a new sequel, Simon Says Mobile 2: Reloaded, that puts a brand new spin on the original game. Despite issues with development, we managed to meet our deadline of the summer of 2021 and are now contemplating ways to make Simon Says Mobile a potential game franchise of its own.

While we now may not have a lot of good ideas for unprecedented Android™ games, we know that we can always choose to improve on the games we've previously released.
